At Koleson’s 4th birthday party, we made a promise: if he made it to his 5th, we’d celebrate big.

He didn’t get to blow out those candles with us. But the promise still stands. This is his first birthday in heaven, and we’re gathering the community that carried our family and turning it into fuel for the next family who needs to be carried.
